Education is a Treasure! Culture Never Dies!

I know that seems like an odd title but my closest friends will understand it :)

FINALLY! For some reason this site doesn't like me after dark because I have such difficulties opening up the dashboard! How can I write for my millions of fans when the technology is failing?! =P

First off, I have to say: May Michael Jackson rest in peace. He was truly gifted and his music will live on in my memory as a big part of my childhood.

RIP MJ

Now, on to much lighter and happier things!

I have been interning at an amazing non-profit organization that connects philanthropic citizens with teachers in high-need areas all over the country! Any charitable person with access to the internet that would love to help teachers receive resources essential to student development and education, this is the site for you!

It's very simple, just as the tagline says:

We've had support from Stephen Colbert
and the Gates Foundation, and even Michelle
Obama mentioned how wonderful this organization
really is for the students in high-poverty areas in need
of such simple things as pens, paper, crayons and textbooks!

I'm actually at work right now I should probably
get to working on my many projects. I feel like an integral
part of this organization because it has taught me how important
the impact of a person's actions really is. Which is why this site is so great!

Anyone can donate any amount to any proposal that they personally connect with!

I encourage you to check it out :)

Until next time! :)))))))

P.S.-I suggest checking out what the Give-Back Birthday Party is!

I'm in a New York state of minddddddd

Howdy hey everyone! I LOVE NEW YORK CITY! And you will too if you spend a day here doing more than just touristy things. Living here has changed my life! But since you can't just up and move...here are some places to check out!

Tavern on the Green

It's a great restaurant. It looks like you've fallen into another world like in Alice in Wonderland!

Or take a carriage ride! While these poor horses do suffer...

I think taking them for a walk is better than letting them stand around in the heat (if summer ever comes!!)

Or you can get cultured in one of the many museums of New York City... =P

Take a boat ride ont he Hudson River and see the skyline...

and the Statue of Liberty!

I'm excited to take tons of pictures this summer. I'm going to Europe again!!

Until next time :))))))

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”

It's been quite a while...

New York City is where I now live
It's just so grand, it has so much to give!
I've seen many things and yet there's still more
I have so much to share, so give me the floor :)

As you might know, New York can get crazy
Don't get me wrong, there's time to be lazy
But as an intern in this here metropolis
I feel like I'm higher than the Acropolis!

I've seen some interesting things around here
Things that make me curious and peer
Such as: a man trimming his nose hairs
Or an artist on the subway rhyming in pairs

I'm excited to report all my experiences
And the many odd and unique occurrences
Should be exciting, I'm sure you agree
Because if you don't, you have to answer to me =P

Polska, Biało Czerwoni!

A lot of my personality can be summed up by some of my most commonly used phrases:

"I wanna run."
"I want ice cream."
"Ho hum pig's bum." (Yes, that's right. Accept it.)

And one important fact to add to that is:

I'm Polish. And incredibly proud of it. As a result, Poland will also be a frequent topic of mine.
The title of this post is the Polish cheer at sporting events, it means "Poland, White and Red", as those are the colors of the flag. I'm proud to wear my white and red :)

My next suggestion is to hit up New York City the first weekend of October. Being a native New Jerseyan, from here on out, I will call it The City. Everyone should know that this means New York City. That's just how it is.

Every fall, on the first Sunday of October, The City hosts "Parada Pułaskiego", or Pulaski Day Parade for those of you who are polish-illiterate (it's okay, I forgive you), to commemorate Kazimierz
Pułaski, a Polish hero in the American Revolutionary War. It proceeds down 5th Avenue and is just a jolly good time for people of all nationalities. I mean, who doesn't enjoy a parade? Plus, have you ever met any Polish people? They are loud, uninhibited, always joking, and so much fun. Not to mention super cool...you know what I mean if you know me. (Did I mention they're very confident? And attractive?) This year, the parade happens to be TODAY! Sadly, I am missing it. I will ask my friend at NYU to enjoy it for me.

:))))))
