Such a beautiful weekend!

I was planning on catching up on my summer travels in today's post but the weather in Boston is just so marvelous, I have to honor its good behavior with another post! There are so many things to do in Boston when the weather is nice! Why am I so excited by everything I say? I don't know! Ok! ...!

Take a Duck Tour
Walk on the esplanade
Shop and dine on Newbury Street
Follow the Freedom Trail

Go to Harvard Square (I know that's technically Cambridge...)
Take a gondola tour on the Charles (for
the romantics ;) )

Duck Tours are hilariously awesome and informative, the esplanade is my favorite place to walk (well...run), Newbury Street is dangerous for the shopaholic in you, the Freedom Trail is something I have yet to do..., Harvard Square is a great place to meet your future husband or wife ;), and as for Gondola Tours...I just realized they had those! While I was running the other day (on the esplanade of course) I
saw some lucky couple (barf...jk!) enjoying the sunset from a gondola. How cute is that? They apparently have them until November 2nd, I believe, between 2 PM and midnight, Wednesday through Sunday. Nice date idea, hint hint!

But the best thing I've done in Boston by far is watched the sunrise from the Mass. Ave Bridge. My three friends and I (a.k.a. the Brain Trust) walked to the Mass. Ave Bridge at 5:30 AM for the sole purpose of watching the magic unfurl. Actually, the first time it was just me and Waffles but we left a little late (hence the repeat of "Operation: Watch Sunrise" with the BT). We ended up walking across the bridge and around back to campus and the view from the Boston University Bridge was phenomenal. Therefore...

I suggest watching the sunrise from the BU Bridge. Sorry for the confusion. =P

Or you can watch it while "Sitting on the dock of the bay" (or river... =P)

:))))))

i'm glad you didn't reveal too much about the dock ;))) also, good move recommending us all to watch from the BU bridge.. since that's not so fun to find out on your own. also, sunset is fab from the mass ave bridge :)))

awww i would be honored to watch the sunset with the both of you and more importantly, regarding the gondola rides, since we're all lacking in that romantic department, let's do it! haha pretty please! when i was in venice (most likely the last time i will have ever seen it before it sinks) it was raining most of the time and could not ride a gondola (i also did not have anyone to ride it with haha) so now it's your turns to make that dream come true ;-)
